I probably should have titled this post the next generation. I didn't even get everyone in my pics. Why I didn't wrangle all the kids together and force them to take a picture, I have no idea! Cynthia had a huge party at the house with all our highschool/college friends that we all grew up with. Cynthia had Portillo's catered and she even had a bounce house. It was a great reunion and its always so much fun to see all of our kids playing together. Thank you Cynthia and Dennis for a great party!

We spent the second half of our week at Deric's parents' house which is also in Naperville.  Nolan and Cort really enjoyed playing with their cousins.  Next we took the kids to the city to see the Field Museum.  As a kid, this was my favorite museum and I knew Nolan would love seeing mummies and dinosaurs all in one place.  After we got home, we had to go to the library and check out a book on Egypt as well as oil spills, two things that really interested him.  There is so much in Chicago that I want to show the boys. One week is just not enough. Luckily we will be here at least once a year every year and we can slowly check things off my list!  We also took Nolan to Portillo's and Deric's parents took us all to Rosebud, both places we really miss.  The following night Gigi had a big party! Chicago Trip Part 3

We spent our first half of the week at Mimi's house in Naperville. My mom lives in the historic district of downtown Naperville and it is such a neat neighborhood.

Playing our silly "Bad Choices" game at dinner.  Nolan once told me that when he gets older he will have a house and he will make bad choices there like standing on his coffee table.  This has turned into a game where we each tell what silly choice we will make at when we go to Nolan's future house.  Pretty funny!
