Last night the three of us went out to dinner at Chili's. When it came time to pay the bill, our waiter said that another table had taken care of it for us. He pointed to a table with a woman and two little boys. Deric went over and introduced himself and asked why she had done it. We thought maybe she knew us somehow. She just shrugged and said she didn't know the waiter would tell us it was her. Deric thanked her again but it seemed that she really hadn't planned on us knowing it was her. On the way home I think we were both in shock. We kept asking each other why she would do that. It was as if we could not accept that someone would do something nice for someone they didn't know without a reason. She certainly made our night and made us want to pass on this kindness to someone else next time we go out to dinner.

Wow, that is amazingly nice! How special! It warms your heart to hear such a sweet sentiment in such troubled times!
What an swesome thing for her to do, and so rare. I bet she just saw a young family and wanted to help. How sweet.
