I thought Nolan's first snow would be in Illinois this year, but it actually snowed in Austin yesterday. I was at school when it first started. All the kids gathered around the window. They were so excited! Many of them had never seen REAL snow before. We went out for a few minutes so they could feel the snow. I think the whole school was outside! About 20 minutes later it was sunny and it looked like it had never happened. I wish I could have been with Nolan to take him outside. Luckily, Deric was working from home and was able to capture this shot of the snow over our pool. It has been colder lately and I love it. It is nice to have a winter as long as it is short!
