On Saturday we packed up the boys and headed out to Franklin. In some ways, Cort being a terrible napper makes trips like this easier. Easier, because I don't even attempt a pack n play or try to force a nap. It was so relaxing. I rocked Cort to sleep in the bouncer when he needed it. He took some pretty good naps that way and was in pretty good spirits for most the visit.
When we go to Franklin, Nolan skips his nap. To be honest, it is just easier for everyone. He gets a little wild around 6:00, but skipping a nap is just one of the many perks for Nolan. He LOVES visiting Tamie and Ampies. Can you believe there were cows in their back yard? Amazing! Nolan and Cort were showered with love, attention and toys. We stayed all day and fed Cort at 8:00 and then headed home. Both boys slept the entire way home and transferred easily to their bed and crib. Cort had a great night and slept until 4:00, ate and then back down until 8:00. Deric and I were able to get some much-needed sleep. It was a great end to a fun trip. Thank you Tamie and Ampies!
