Cort actually turned 6 months yesterday. Things have been so busy that I didn't realize that yesterday was the 5th! So, I had to take a break from Christmas posting and focus on our little guy. He is doing so much better with his reflux. He is no longer on any medication and is a pretty good sleeper. We still have crazy nights where he wakes up several times. I don't think it is the reflux that is causing this though, I think it is some bad habits that were picked up as we were trying to help him with his reflux.
He eats a TON. This could be part of the reason for waking up, although I just don't know how a 6 month old baby can eat so much food. I predict he weighs about 20 pounds, but we don't see Dr. Travis until later this month. He eats an 8 ounce bottle every 4 hours during the day along with three solid meals. So far he has had sweet potatoes, banana, avocado, rice cereal and oatmeal. Sometimes he eats the entire bottle has two bowls of food and then another 2 ounces of formula. He is wearing 9 and 12 month size clothes and just all together doesn't really seem like a 6 month old.
He is rolling around like crazy and LOVES his big brother more than anything else. He loves to stand with help and play with Nolan. He says Babababa a lot which is what we call his bottle. We aren't sure if he says this on accident or to ask for the bottle, since he is pretty much always hungry. We sure love this little guy and just can't believe half of a year has gone by already!
