This year on the 4th (the day before Cort was born) we took Nolan to our neighborhood festival. They had a small petting zoo, a water bouncy slide and a Kona Ice truck. It was so hot that morning so we decided to go home and get in the pool. Nolan has gotten used to the water again and tried to get me to go in the deep end with him. I told him it was over my head and we needed to stay in the shallow end. He said, "Let's go Momma, don't be scared." At the festival, Nolan had a great time with the animals. He held a hedgehog, a duckling and a bunny. He also loved the bouncy water slide. I thought it looked a bit scary but Nolan had no fear. A couple of days ago, Nolan found his 4th of July t-shirt and asked Deric to have it again!
