Pumpkin Soup

Nolan has recently discovered the book, "Pumpkin Soup" by Helen Cooper. We have read this book many many times in the past few weeks. So, yesterday we decided to make pumpkin soup just like Duck, Cat and Squirrel do in the book. Nolan was so excited. His favorite part was putting in a "pipkin of salt" just like Duck. I wasn't sure if he would actually like pumpkin soup but it ended up being a big hit. He liked it so much that he had it for dinner last night. You would never know it was 100 degrees outside!
