Play For All Abilities Park

-or as Nolan calls it, Play for Responsibilities Park.  What a fun park!  Cort is getting more and more independent and it is so much fun to be able to find fun places where they can play together.  Cort doesn't put anything is his mouth, which means he can play without worry in the sand.  Dr. Travis says that Cort seems to have an aversion to eating.  He has the fine motor abilities (pincer grasp) to put things in his mouth, but refuses.  We are really working on this and were told that if he is still not picking up food and eating it by 12 months we may need to see some sort of specialist.  For now, we aren't worrying too much.  Eating has always been an issue for him and I am sure it is in some way related to his reflux issues.  He just isn't interested in using his mouth to explore.  The good news is I don't have to worry that he is going to choke on a rock or swallow a handful of sand...at least for now!
